MEGT, in partnership with Lendlease, is looking for driven individuals to join the 2026 Carpentry Apprentice Program across Melbourne. If you've got a passion for construction and big ambitions for your career, this is your chance to get hands-on experience, learn from industry leaders, and work toward becoming a future Leading Hand on major Melbourne projects.

About the role:

As a Carpentry Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced tradespeople to develop your skills and gain hands-on experience across a range of construction activities, including:

  • Assisting with the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures
  • Learning to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Gaining practical skills in framing, formwork, cladding, and finishing
  • Following safety procedures while contributing to a safe and productive worksite

What we're looking for:

  • Certificate II in Building & Construction (Pre-Apprenticeship) (Preferred)
  • A valid Driver's Licence and vehicle, working at heights, and white card (Required)
  • A strong interest or experience in the building and construction industry and a desire for career progression into a supervisor role.
  • Reliability, enthusiasm, and a commitment to learning.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and a focus on safety.
