Change Futures is a Brisbane based not-for-profit organisation providing Mental Health services to a range of community groups. Our mission is to work with people of all ages to provide opportunities for positive change and to enhance their psychological and emotional well-being.

We are seeking a Provisional Psychologist or Mental Health Accredited Social Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be located close to the Beaudesert or Jimboomba areas and will have the confidence and experience to work largely autonomously. If you engage well with people, can expertly organize your workload, manage deadlines and have experience with clients with trauma, then we would really like to hear from you. This role is part time, Monday and Thursday in Beaudesert and Wednesday in Jimboomba, within our PSP program (Psychology Services Program) supporting a range of clients across all presentations.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing psychological support and face to face evidence-based assessments and interventions to a wide range of clients
  • Working collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Working with culturally sensitive practices for clients to deliver quality psychological services
  • Maintaining confidential session records and timely entry in client management systems
  • Composing detailed and accurate correspondence to stakeholders (GP letters, risk reports)
  • Collaboratively working with agencies and allied health professionals
  • Developing clinical practice knowledge through active learning and engaging in professional development

About You:

  • Provisional Psychologist or Mental Health Accredited Social Worker (or completing accreditation)
  • Registered with either AHPRA or AASW
  • Prior experience in Private Practice is preferred
  • Unrestricted working rights within Australia
