This is an exciting opportunity to join the Physiotherapy Department at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. In addition to the current role an e-list will be created for future full-time and part-time positions which may become available over the next 18 months.

What you'll be doing

The Physiotherapist will provide clinical services to inpatients and/or outpatients as determined by the particular role or rotation. The Physiotherapist will provide evidence based care within a multidisciplinary and family centred context. Participation is required in ongoing education, teaching, evidence based practice and quality improvement activities.

The Level 1/2 Physiotherapist will contribute to:

  • Planning, development and evaluation of the service.
  • Development, implementation and evaluation of policies, practices and patient care both within the hospital and wider afield.
  • Liaison with community based services relevant to the patient population.
