What you'll be doing

Join Westmead Hospital's OPMH Acute Inpatient Unit as a Physiotherapist, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and supporting education, supervision, and service improvement.

• Provide physiotherapy assessment, care and evaluation
• Manage caseload with evidence-based practice
• Collaborate across the multidisciplinary health care team
• Supervise and mentor students and staff
• Contribute to education, research and quality improvement

Essential Requirements:

Qualification: Hold an appropriate degree, or other approved equivalent qualification

Registration: Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria:

• Relevant clinical experience including demonstrated advanced practice skills and management of a complex physiotherapy caseload.
• Demonstrated experience in supervision and teaching of staff and/or students.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and evidence based practice.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality improvement, research and service development activities.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Extensive clinical knowledge in aged care and/or rehabilitation physiotherapy with a broad range of clinical experience including acute/subacute setting
• Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence
