About the Role

Electrotek Qld is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Electrician to join our professional team on the Gold Coast.

You'll be leading site crews across major commercial and multi-residential high-rise projects, ensuring quality workmanship, compliance, and safety on every job.

We're looking for someone who already has proven success in a leading hand or supervisory role and wants to bring their expertise to a company known for technical excellence, strong leadership, and career stability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate electrical teams on commercial and multi-residential projects
  • Oversee daily site operations, safety compliance, and quality assurance
  • Perform hands-on electrical work to the highest industry standards
  • Mentor apprentices and support team development
  • Liaise with project managers, builders, and other trades to maintain smooth workflow
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience as a Leading Hand or Site Supervisor
  • 5+ years' total electrical experience in commercial or multi-residential work
  • Current QLD Electrical Licence and full Australian work rights
  • Excellent technical knowledge of electrical codes and systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to safety and team success
