The Telecommunications Field Engineer supports the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault resolution of mobile network infrastructure. This hands-on role includes rigging, equipment setup, and technical fieldwork across a variety of client sites.

Key Duties

  • Install and commission mobile network hardware
  • Perform tower rigging and work safely at heights
  • Use test equipment for diagnostics and QA
  • Conduct site audits and interpret drawings and schematics
  • Complete preventative and demand maintenance tasks
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and client standards
  • Maintain accurate site reports and documentation

Requirements

  • 2 years in telecommunications fieldwork
  • Experience with mobile networks (3G/4G/5G) and RF systems
  • White Card, Working at Heights & Tower Rescue certifications
  • Driver's licence and willingness to travel
  • Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills
