About the OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for skilled Avionics technicians to become a key part of our team at RAAF Base Pearce, WA, working hands-on in an environment that demonstrates excellence, innovation, and teamwork.

This is your chance to be part of the supporting team looking after theHawk Lead-In Fighter , one of the world's most successful advanced military jet trainer aircraft.

In this role, you will be taking on responsibilities that are as challenging as they are rewarding. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you'll be instrumental in keeping our fleet ready and safe.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with the Shift Team Leadto execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring all technical documentation is up-to-date and authorised.
• Maintain accurate recordsof work performed, ensuring all procedures comply with BAE Systems and Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) regulations.
• Identify and report defects,maintenance issues, and quality non-conformances as they arise.
• Adhere to high standards of safety and qualitywhile operating workshop equipment and performing maintenance tasks.
• Support flight operationsas needed to meet operational demands.

About YOU

• Proven experience in a similar workshop or hangar role.
• Ability to secure and maintain a "Baseline" defense security clearance.
• Strong understanding of DASA regulations, and a commitment to safety in every aspect of the job.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
