Peace Lutheran College (Peace) is a co-educational Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school located in beautiful Cairns in tropical North Queensland. About the Role

The College is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join the College teaching team in 2026. The successful applicant will be passionate about delivering a quality and engaging language learning experience to our students and be able to demonstrate their capacity and willingness to engage with the Christian ethos of our College. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for both experienced educators and enthusiastic new graduates to make a positive impact on students' lives.

Criteria:

  • Experience teaching Spanish
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification and current teaching registration
  • Experience in the provision of quality relevant curriculum program
  • Developed classroom teaching skills
  • Capacity and willingness to contribute to the wellbeing of students
  • Commitment to upholding Christian values and ethos
  • Ability to work in a team to achieve identified outcomes and sustained performance
  • Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills, time management and organisational skills
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia to be considered for this position
