Jellinbah Mine is located near the townships of Blackwater and Bluff in Central Queensland and produces 6.0 million tonnes of PCI product annually.

Jellinbah Mine is recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join the electrical team in a permanent role.

What you will be doing:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on electrical systems, including switchgear, motors, and control panels.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults
  • Install and commission new electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Australian electrical standards and mine site regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance logs and inspection reports.

About you:

  • 7 on 7 off roster - Day shift only
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards
  • Trade qualified with 2 years post trade experience and 12 months experience in a mining or similar environment
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Must hold a current Electrical Worker Licence

  • Must hold full Australian working rights
