HC Truck Drivers

Roadworx Group is a multi-divisional infrastructure contractor approaching 200 employees and a fleet of more than 170 pieces of plant & equipment. Our commitment to getting the job done, knowledge and ability to solve difficulties are the attributes that define us from our competitors.  We are currently seeking Spray Seal Crew Operators and HR Truck Drivers at our Mittagong based operations.

The Role:

Responsible for the daily duties associated with working in the Spray Seal crew.  The successful candidates will perform duties such as truck driving, plant operating and labouring work on site with hand tools.  The Spray Seal Crew has a broad range of works from multi-term council contracts to civil projects and small private jobs.  Must be available for working away during the week, occasional weekend work may be required. Strong team player attitude is essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidates must be willing to work in a positive team environment.  Roadworx is committed to the safe operating behaviour of its work force.  We require candidates who are willing to work in a multi skilled role, willing to step outside the comfort zone and challenge themselves.

Requirements:

• Heavy Rigid licence (HR) (or have plans to obtain HC License).
• Driver licence
• White card
• Be physically fit.
• Have the ability to work on own initiative and be able to work without constant supervision as well as part of a team.
• Detail orientated.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Two check-able work references from previous employers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one-year directly related experience required.

Physical Environment:

• Frequent ability to lift or move up to 20kg throughout shift and spend prolonged periods on their feet.
• Frequent ability to sit, climb, reach, and bend throughout shift.
• Ability to pass a physical on annual basis, including a drug screen.
• Ability to work in outdoor construction environments, with moderate noise levels.
