**About the Role**:
We are looking for casual garden labourers/grounds persons to assist with various tasks related to green space maintenance. This hands-on role working at sites based in Mittagong and surrounding areas requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. If you have a passion for working with plants, and a desire to learn and grow in the horticultural industry, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, and mulching.
- Operate hand tools such as hedgers, blowers and whippersnippers and petrol gear such as push mowers and ride on plant equipment safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

**About You**:
You have a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards. Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field will be highly regarded.

This role can be physically demanding and you must have the ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Your ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team will help you to be successful in this role.

You have a current drivers licence and have, or are willing to obtain, white card and Working with Children Check.
