Step into an exhilarating journey with Velocity Frequent Flyer Virgin Australia's award-winning loyalty program. We make rewards fast and meaningful — from dream holidays and upgrades to retail, fuel, and everyday perks.
Velocity is all about smart, simple, and speedy rewards. As part of our vibrant team, you'll help deliver unforgettable value to millions of Australians — all while enjoying the perks of working for one of the country's most loved travel brands.
Reporting into the Head of Customer Analytics within our CoE, the Manager, Advanced Analytics will lead a high-performing team of three focused on unlocking data-driven value for Velocity's partners. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting partner success through the development of scalable data products, strategic reviews, and commercial analytics.
In addition, you will:
Lead development of partner-orientated data products such as self-service BI (e.g. a partner data suite).
Support strategic reviews and pre-sales activities including business development, commercial proposals, and data enablement pitches.
Own and evolve our data sharing capabilities with partners (e.g. cooperative marketing), ensuring security, utility, and commercial outcomes.
Design and implement measurement frameworks to evaluate partner performance and the impact of co-designed data initiatives.
Provide commercial modelling and insights for partner pricing, investment, and optimisation decisions.
Build and manage a multidisciplinary analytics team skilled in data product development, behavioural analytics, and stakeholder engagement.
Lead innovation in analytics approaches, tools, and technologies to enhance partner data enablement.
Success in coaching and developing analytical talent and contributing in cross-functional teams
You'll be great in this role if you:
Have 8–10 years of experience in analytics, consulting, or a similar data-driven role, ideally with exposure to partner/agency-side dynamics.
Bring 3+ years leading analytics or data product teams with a focus on external client or partner delivery.
Have experience in data product development – articulating customer needs, shaping requirements, and delivering value through insight products.
Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, with experience in business development, RFP/pitch responses, and financial modelling.
Are confident translating complex data into compelling insights for non-technical commercial audiences.
Are familiar with partner data ecosystems, data sharing strategies, and scalable platform delivery.
