Customer Service Representative - Multiple Positions

We're looking for motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our Customer Operations team as Customer Service Representatives (CSRs).


About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers — managing a range of enquiries, transactions, and complaints with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy. You'll help ensure that every customer interaction reflects our commitment to reliability, innovation, and service excellence.

You'll work as part of a supportive, high-performing team that keeps our transport network moving and our customers satisfied.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls and emails, providing accurate information and specialised advice
  • Process customer transactions and travel card administration efficiently and accurately
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints, escalating when necessary
  • Adhere to established processes, policies, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Participate in regular coaching and training to maintain product and system knowledge
  • Model Cubic's values and demonstrate professionalism in every customer interaction
  • Support operational excellence by maintaining compliance with all quality, safety, and HR policies

About You

You're a natural communicator with a passion for delivering excellent service and a keen eye for detail. You take ownership of your work and thrive in a team environment where quality and accuracy matter.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated customer service experience and a genuine desire to help others
  • Strong keyboarding and data entry skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Availability to work on a rotational roster, including some overnight shifts

Desirable:

  • Experience in a call centre or inbound customer service environment
  • Experience in the public transport or infrastructure industry
  • Familiarity with working in KPI-driven environments
