We Are Seeking

We are currently seeking a Farsi or Dari-speaking Support Worker to assist one of our clients located in Cranbourne, VIC.

The ideal candidate will provide personal care and community access support in line with the client's NDIS goals.

This position is part-time casual and offered on an ABN basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with personal care tasks (e.g., showering, grooming, dressing)
  • Supporting the client to access the community and attend appointments or recreational activities
  • Encouraging independence and participation in daily living activities
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Communicating effectively with the client, family, and the Ara Healthcare team

Key Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Fluency in Farsi or Dari (essential)
  • Previous experience working as a Support Worker (NDIS experience preferred)
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services (preferred)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Good communication skills and a caring, respectful attitude
  • Availability for flexible hours (including mornings or weekends, if required)
