Job Title: Support Worker

Location: Cranbourne, VIC

**Job Type**: casual

Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Cranbourne, VIC. As a Support Worker, you will provide assistance and support to individuals who require help with daily living activities. Your main responsibility will be to provide quality care and support to our clients while maintaining their dignity, respect, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing assistance with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Administering medication and monitoring the health status of clients
- Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
- Accompanying clients to appointments and social events
- Assisting with household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Maintaining accurate records of daily activities and reporting any concerns to the supervisor
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure quality care is provided to clients

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or Aged Care
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- Willingness to undergo a police check and provide a working with children check

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Experience in providing care to individuals with disabilities, mental health conditions, or aged care is highly desirable

**Salary**: $32.00 - $63.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Broadmeadows, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
- NDI screening check (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: One location
