About the Role

As a Personal Support Worker, you will assist clients in their daily living activities, helping them maintain independence in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs (hoists used when necessary)
  • Providing personal care: grooming, bathing, dressing, and hygiene
  • Supporting basic wound care and self-medication
  • Offering domestic support: meal prep, light housekeeping, and laundry
  • Facilitating community access: driving clients to appointments and social activities

About You

We seek passionate individuals with an empathetic nature and a positive attitude. You should be able to communicate effectively and treat others with dignity and respect. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide extensive training.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Smartphone device
  • Current NDIS Workers Screening Card (Yellow Card) or willingness to obtain
  • Be eligible to apply for a Working with Children Check
  • Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module or willingness to complete
  • Flexibility to work a fixed fortnightly roster with varying shift times
