About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive and experienced Motel Management Team/Couple to work in our 28 room motel Located in Mount Gambier. The ideal candidate(s) will have a proven track record in hotel management and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.

Motel is a 4-star motel, consists of 28 rooms in the heart of Mount Gambier, is seeking an experienced and dynamic management couple to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to live on-site and manage a thriving hospitality business in a calm and community-focused environment.

Position & Compensation:

  • Service Agreement: $ ABN arrangement)
  • Accommodation: Free on-site residence with all utilities included
  • Residency: On-site stay required during working days (no charge)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee front office operations and guest services, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
  • Supervise and motivate a small team of staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Handle minor motel maintenance tasks and maintain clean common areas.
  • Assist with cleaning duties (up to 5 rooms), including washing and folding towels and managing linen turnover (linen outsourced).
  • Strip and reset rooms with fresh linen.
  • No breakfast preparation or restaurant operations involved.
  • A formal contract will be provided upon confirmation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in motel, hotel, or caravan park management preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to confidently lead and manage a team.
  • Must be willing to live on-site and be available during working hours.
  • A current police clearance is required.
