About Us

Community Solutions Group makes a difference in people's lives - supporting them to achieve their goals and working with them on their pathway to possibilities. We deliver a broad range of services focused on the well-being and independence of individuals, families and communities across Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.

About The Role:

This is your chance to do work that truly matters. As a Mentor in our Workforce Australia team, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals overcome challenges and build brighter, more sustainable futures. You'll be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to changing lives through employment, one success story at a time.

This is more than a job, it's a calling As a Mentor, you'll support individuals through every step of their employment journey. From building confidence to setting goals and accessing training, you'll empower people to take control of their future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take the time to really understand your clients - their goals, strengths, and roadblocks.
  • Build trust and create supportive relationships that lay the foundation for lasting success.
  • Collaborate with clients to set clear, achievable goals. Break down barriers and map out practical steps that move them forward in work and life.
  • Keep everything running smoothly by ensuring accurate, up-to-date records using systems like ESS/WAOP and Job Ready. Consistency and compliance are key.
  • Play an active role in our team's success by using resources wisely, supporting efficiency, and helping us meet financial and service goals.

What We're Looking For:

  • You connect easily with others and know how to build trust and rapport that lasts - whether it's with clients, colleagues, or community partners.
  • You're proactive, self-motivated, and love achieving goals. Fast-paced environments energise you, and you're always ready to take the initiative.
  • You stay positive and composed, even when facing challenges. You see setbacks as opportunities to grow and adapt.
  • You thrive in a supportive team but also work confidently on your own. You know when to collaborate and when to take the lead.
  • You're committed to delivering quality service and always look for ways to do things better. Continuous improvement is part of how you work.
  • You're organised, focused, and able to balance competing tasks without missing a beat. Deadlines and KPIs? You've got them covered.

Benefits and Perks

  • Salary Package up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax free, and additional $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses
  • Use your pre-tax income to purchase a new or used car, saving on both the purchase price and running costs
  • Discounts on Corporate Private Health Insurance, selected Kia vehicles and white goods at Harvey Norman
  • Discounted family gym memberships through Fitness Passport
  • Supportive induction and learning opportunities
  • 6 week's paid parental leave for primary carer
  • Free coaching and counselling through our Employee Assistance Program
