About the Role
Reporting into the Chief Risk Officer, you will join the Enterprise Risk Management team within the Group Risk & Compliance function, which operates as Hollard's second line of defence.
You will be supporting the Senior Manager Operational Risk in further developing and maintaining a sound risk management framework and uplifting risk capabilities across the business.
Key Responsibilities include (not limited to):
- Govern and oversee operational risk management across the enterprise.
 - Use expertise to influence senior leaders to adopt strong, proactive risk practices.
 - Review and challenge first line risk management activities, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and treated effectively.
 - Provide independent challenge over material change initiatives,
 - Assist with risk reporting to the Hollard Non-Financial Risk Management Committee (NFRMC) and the Board Risk Committee.
 
About You
- Ideally have a tertiary qualification or diploma in Accounting, Commerce, Banking Economics, Finance or Law.
 - Minimum 7 years' experience in operational risk roles across insurance and/or financial services experience (General insurance strongly preferred).
 - Exposure to risk oversight in large-scale change or transformation initiatives.
 - Ability to perform trend analysis for risks, issues and incidents.
 - Strong understanding of APRA CPS 220/230, the Privacy Act, and other Regulatory requirements.
