As a collective we are focused on training the next generation of professionals and tradespersons and we are currently we are seeking a candidate to be mentored in a project administrator role, with ongoing career role advancements expected in the longer term.

Position Schedule

Full time, salary position, 38+ hours, Mon-Fri, renumeration is dependant on the candidates capability, experience and skill set. Can be discussed upon interview.

Position description overview

Additional to the on the job pro-active mentoring provided by our team members and management team, POWINS also operates an internal management system (IMS).

The POWINS IMS is used as an operational and working guide to support all staff on the procedures, methods of performing work, drawing and revision compliance, safety and document control requirements. With the added guidance of the IMS, the expectations and deliverables of the role can be delivered with a high level of job satisfaction by the employee. Project manager's are to be responsible for all facets of project technical and commercial communication as well as document interfacing on client portals, overall project document control, conformance to formats and contract process requirements, management of document registers and revisions, compliance and design conformance of as-sold solutions, management of client technical and commercial expectations, execution timelines, with direct assistance from the POWINS engineering and design team members.

This role requires that the applicant to have a working capability to create and deliver electrical / mechanical design concepts, proficiency in 2D drafting in AutoCAD, understanding and application to design of the relevant AS/NZS and IEC standards applicable to low and high voltage switchgear, switchrooms, switchroom services (A/C and fire) as well as electrical kiosks, to name a few products. POWINS also design and manufacture customised and unique, project specific switchgear solutions which both encourages and demands a level of continual professional development.

Candidate attributes

A suitable candidate would have a well rounded operational system knowledge of all Microsoft office platforms, AutoCAD systems, relevant AS/NZS and IEC standards. Have a strong personal drive to methodically assist and persist within the team to ensure timely outcomes of tasks, timelines, schedules, reviews, to ensure execution and delivery in achieved in a professional manner for both POWINS and our Clients.

As this is an office based role, personal presentation and pro-active communication skills in a team setting are imperative. The successful candidate must display a self-motivated drive, with a passion to learn, be reliable, punctual, and enjoy the reward of hard earned positive work task outcomes.
