This is a great opportunity to join our team at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, providing innovative and ground-breaking mental health in-patient services for the Victorian public.

We have permanent opportunities across two key areas:

• Emerald Unit - a 30-bed adult general mental health inpatient unit (night shift)
• Women's Recovery Network (WREN) - 14 general mental health beds, 5 eating disorder beds and 5 perinatal beds

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients, families/carers/supporters and the multidisciplinary team to provide nursing care that supports the patient's mental health and wellbeing and promotes recovery
• Foster a compassionate and supportive environment, promoting dignity and respect for all
• Offer education and support to patients and their families/carers/supporters, empowering them to actively participate in the care process.

Your Skills and Experience

• AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• Acute Mental Health Inpatient experience essential.
• Postgraduate Qualifications Mental Health (highly regarded)
• Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed approaches and best practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Remuneration

An hourly rate ranging from $ $ superannuation + applicable penalty rates. Based on experience level and qualifications

About the Women's Recovery Network (WREN)

WREN is an innovative service developed in response to the Royal Commission recommendations for partnerships between the public and private sector, and the need for gender segregation and sexually safe units.  We recognise that women experiencing mental ill-health have specific needs that differ from their male counterparts that require tailored treatment and support.

Requirements

• Must provide aNational Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
