About the opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic AHA to join our team of specialist nurses and allied health staff. The position provides quality client care under the direction of an Allied Health Professional

In this role you will work with clients in group or individual sessions either in center, homebased or in the community. This role also assists with the preparation of resources required for client therapy and the maintaining of clinical equipment.

• 0.5 EFT, permanent position
• Working Monday - Friday office hours, weekends and public holidays off

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Grade 2 AHA with Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance

• Current Full Victorian (or equivalent) Drivers Licence

• Strong, relevant clinical skills and experience in sub-acute/ community setting especially working in the field of Speech Pathology
• Experience and knowledge in working with people with complex, chronic physical and psychosocial care needs
• Demonstrated agility to change and amend work priorities and goals accordingly.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
