What you'll do
Run end-to-end weekly payroll in Xero: onboard/terminate staff, maintain pay/leave/allowances, process deductions and reimbursements
Enter/code supplier bills to correct jobs/GL, match to POs/dockets, chase credits, reconcile statements and prepare payment runs.
Create progress/service invoices, send statements, allocate receipts, monitor aged debtors and follow up professionally.
Manage bank feeds and daily reconciliations in Xero, clear suspense/wages clearing, reconcile key balance-sheet accounts and support BAS data prep.
Be a friendly first point of contact (phones/visitors), keep filing tidy (digital/physical), order supplies, and support simple job-admin (timesheets, dockets, POs).
- Help streamline document capture
What you'll bring
- Xero experience — compulsory. Confident across bills/AP, bank recs, payroll
- Solid AP/AR background with strong reconciliations discipline and deadline focus.
- Clear, helpful communicator with excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Construction/quarry/civil experience highly regarded (job costing, dockets, retainers), but we welcome strong administrators from other industries keen to learn.
- Nice to have: ServiceM8/Fergus; Excel lookups/pivots; familiarity with supplier compliance
- Australian work rights are required for this position
