About this Role
We are seeking an engaging front of house professional that enjoys connecting with people. The Receptionist is an integral part of Greenway Chambers being the primary point of contact for the barristers of Greenway Chambers and their clients. We are seeking someone with vibrant energy who can work professionally within a small team environment. The administrative team assists 50 barristers in a dynamic set of chambers and the role will be primarily responsible for the professionalism of front of house/reception and ensuring daily tasks are performed as required for the smooth operation of Chambers.
You will be responsible for:
1. answering incoming calls and directing calls/enquiries as required
2. maintaining the professional image of front of house
3. ensuring kitchens are presentable and stocked
4. ordering stock (stationary, kitchen items etc.)
5. managing postage and couriers as required
6. monitoring the juniors' duties and ensuring tasks are completed
7. taking barristers' trolleys to court
8. assisting the Clerk of Chambers with other duties as required.
To be successful in this role you will be:
1. exceptionally professional, in manner and presentation
2. flexible and able to adapt to a changing environment
3. diligent, hardworking, motivated and reliable
4. proficient in MS Office Suite.
You will need to have previous experience as a receptionist or in a professional administrative role. Experience in the legal industry would be an advantage.
