Nestled in the heart of Brisbane's CBD, InterContinental Hotel Brisbane has opened to guests this winter, offering 319 spacious hotel rooms and suites, all day dining restaurant and lobby bar, outdoor pool, fitness centre and Club Lounge, all in a prime location above Queen Street Mall, perfect for exploring the city's top attractions. With over 1800 square metres of meeting and events spaces, InterContinental Brisbane offers versatile function rooms and a Grand Ballroom catering for up to 1000 guests, making it a great choice for business and leisure events alike.

At InterContinental Brisbane we are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Attendant - Part Time to join our team.

Your day-to-day

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you'll welcome our guests, recommend food and beverage options and help keep service on track and up to standard. By tailoring each guest's experience to their unique tastes, you'll create memories as delightful as the dishes. You will be exposed to a variety of service styles from a la carte to fine dining and event service.

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and provide attentive, professional service
• Take food and beverage orders efficiently and accurately
• Prepare and serve drinks, clear tables, and maintain clean, well-presented dining areas
• Support daily restaurant, bar, room service or event operations depending on business needs
• Follow all hygiene, safety and brand standards to ensure an exceptional guest experience
• Work collaboratively with your team to create a friendly, inclusive environment

What we need from you 

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage role in a hotel environment preferred
• Holds a current Responsible Service of Alcohol
• Flexibility to work across a 7 day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays 
• Valid Australian working rights
