About you:

You are an amazing Disability Support Worker with behaviour support experience ideally looking for work in or around the South Brisbane, Redlands, Ipswich & Logan areas.

You are comfortable working with people with complex behaviours who need significant supervision, care and guidance. You excel at maintaining a safe environment and are competent in ensuring compliance is always maintained.

You are good at managing stressful situations, whilst providing first-class care.

Your English and comprehension skills must be excellent.

Disability Support Worker - Behaviour Supports

About the role:

Working in Sunnysights Independent Living homes in the following locations;

  • South Brisbane
  • Redlands
  • Logan
  • Ipswich

You will be involved in the client's morning and evening routines.

Providing supervisory, personal care and social support.

Writing progress notes and incident reports during your shift.

Flexibility to work with short notice providing coverage for staff who are unable to work on the same day or week.

The successful candidate MUST have:

  • Australian driver's license & own car
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance
  • Qualification (minimum certificate 3 in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care)
  • First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Flexibility and willingness to work at night time
  • NDIS Worker Screening Card
  • Current Police check/certificate
  • Rights to Work in Australia
  • Working with Children Card
