About the role

Join the dynamic team at Red Dog Brewery as a casual Cook. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals for our patrons in our bustling brewery located in Mackay, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing high-quality, creative meals from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients
  2. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen to ensure food safety and hygiene standards
  3. Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning and development
  4. Providing excellent customer service and responding promptly to customer requests
  5. Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation
  6. Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Cook or Chef, preferably in a similar hospitality or food service environment
  2. Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
  3. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  4. Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities
  5. Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
  6. Friendly, customer-focused attitude
  7. Current Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)
