Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CommercialBaker to join our fast-paced kitchen. This role requires experience in large-scale baking operations, the ability to follow precise recipes, and a commitment to maintaining production schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake large quantities of bread, pastries, or other baked goods according to company recipes.
  • Operate commercial baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough sheeters.
  • Ensure consistency in product quality, taste, and texture.
  • Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
  • Manage ingredient inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and delivery schedules.
  • Assist with packaging and labelling products for distribution.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a bakery, high-volume kitchen, or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of commercial baking techniques, food safety, and HACCP guidelines.
  • Ability to lift heavy bags of flour, trays, and baking equipment (up to 25KG).
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
