About the Roles

We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic Optical Assistants to join our team. We are seeking both part-time and full-time team members who are passionate about customer service and interested in developing a career in the optical or healthcare industry.

Zoom Optics will provide comphrensive training however we are seeking candidates with experience in Optics. The suitable candidate will bring energy, confidence, and a customer-first approach. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are looking to grow in a rewarding industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering exceptional customer service in-store and over the phone
  • Assisting customers with eyewear selection and fittings (frames, lenses, and contact lenses)
  • Managing sales, orders, and stock control
  • Building strong relationships with patients and ensuring a welcoming experience
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the practice as part of a professional team

What We're Looking For

  • Candidates with at least one year of Optics experience (essential)
  • Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred)
  • Outgoing personality with excellent phone and face-to-face communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.95 – $40.46 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 38 per week
