About the role

K-Struct carpentry & Renovations is seeking an experienced Senior Carpenter to join our skilled team in Melbourne, VIC. As a full-time position, you will be an integral part of our carpentry and renovation projects, contributing your expertise to deliver high-quality craftsmanship. .

Undergoing a wide variety of work, ranging from basic renovations, high end architectual homes, bathroom renovations

From framing, lockup cladding and fix.

What you'll be doing

  1. Carrying out all carpentry duties, including framing, lockup, cladding and finishing work
  2. Reading and interpreting plans, architectual detail and specifications to ensure accurate execution of projects
  3. Operating a variety of power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
  4. Mentoring and guiding junior carpenters to develop their skills
  5. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised worksite at all times

What we're looking for

  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified Carpenter, with a strong background in residential and commercial construction
  2. Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans and specifications
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  4. Strong time management and organisational skills to ensure project deadlines are met
  5. A commitment to safety and a demonstrated ability to work in a safe manner
  6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople
  7. A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
