We are DevelopmentWA - Western Australia's land development agency, working on industrial, commercial, and residential projects. Our work is diverse and state-wide, developing land for sustainable communities, prosperous industries and resilient regions.

Our portfolio includes the development and management of some of WA's most iconic residential, commercial and industrial projects both within the metropolitan area, and regional areas of our state. Projects including Elizabeth Quay, Alkimos, Ocean Reef Marina Pier Street, Subi East and Broome.

About the role

We are currently looking for two Trainee's who would like a career and pursue their passion for working within DevelopmentWA.

Earn while you learn We will support you in achieving Certificate IV in Business. You will receive on the job training from experienced supervisors in each field and also have a dedicated mentor and educator from the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and DevelopmentWA to support you in achieving this certificate. Over the course of the traineeship, the successful candidates will be provided with adequate time within work hours to complete a Nationally Accredited Qualification.

Whether you're finishing school, returning to the workforce, or looking for a new direction, this opportunity is open to you. DevelopmentWA will pay for the training fees as well as your wages and all associated costs.

This Traineeship isn't just a job, it's the beginning of a long term career. Many of our trainees go on to secure permanent roles or continue into higher education and leadership pathways.

Skills needed for this opportunity;

• Strong commitment to personal learning, positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Genuine interest in providing quality customer service to internal and external customers and stakeholders
• Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office programs

Salary: up to $69,201 per annum (2 year Contract)

Work Location: DevelopmentWA Office, 5 Spring Street Perth

Hours: Full time, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
