We are seeking a Multi-skilled Labourer to assist with daily maintenance and varied project work. This role would be ideal for someone with a positive 'can-do' attitude and hands-on approach.

Hours are flexible and as a general guide 8am – 4pm, 38 hours per week.

YOUR ROLE

  • Assisting tradespeople with a variety of tasks, such as material handling, tool preparation, and site cleanup.
  • Performing basic maintenance and repair work, as directed by the tradespeople or working solo under direction
  • Ensuring the work area is clean, organised, and safe at all times
  • Following all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
  • Adhering to project timelines and deadlines to contribute to the overall success of the projects
  • Communicating effectively with the team to ensure a collaborative and efficient work environment
  • Undertake tasks as delegated by the Maintenance Manager or Project Manager.

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A passion for the trades and a willingness to learn/ build on skills
  • Basic - intermediate knowledge of construction or maintenance techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Manual Drivers Licence with reliable vehicle
  • Trade Cert highly regarded

Remuneration: The base hourly rate is $28 - $32per hour plus 25% casual loading. Permanent casual rate.
