Founded in 1955, RJV are a leading civil engineering contracting company in WA. Over time we have established an excellent reputation and a strong presence in the Civil Construction industry.

We are looking for a Final Trim Loader Operator to join our growing team. If you are a team player with the ability to take direction and have experience in final trim and/or in-depth knowledge of subdivision works, then this could be the job for you.

With work sites around the Perth metro area, you'll be field based in a permanent full-time position which attracts a great hourly rate, overtime penalties and allowances.

About you:

  • RII operating ticket(s) (Essential).
  • Construction Induction Card (Essential).
  • Valid WA manual drivers' licence (HR driver's license preferred).
  • Proven experience in final trim loader operations (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of GPS and laser systems.
  • Experience on civil projects.
  • Complete a pre-employment physical assessment and drug test.

Accountabilities of the role:

  • Ability to trim to tolerance with and without GPS.
  • Maintain and adhere to a safe work environment.
  • Read and interpret plans and drawings.
  • Liaise with supervisors daily to ensure all work is completed timely and effectively.
  • Load and move materials efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure records/reports are completed as required.
  • Attend and contribute to Safety Committee Meetings as required.
  • Conduct thorough Plant Prestart and Take 5.
  • Contribute to the development of effective SWMS with the work crew.
