Mobilisation Officer

Protech are looking for a proactive and solutions focused Mobilisation Officer to join our Mining and Maintenance team based from either our Mackay or Brisbane office. If you're motivated by setting high standards, delivering for clients and driving positive outcomes, we want to hear from you

This is a fast paced role where attention to detail, proactive thinking and initiative are essential. You'll be the engine behind smooth workforce mobilisation, ensuring every candidate is ready, compliant and supported from onboarding through to starting onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and track pre-employment medicals, drug and alcohol testing, and other health checks.
• Verify completion of all compliance requirements (i.e. licenses, tickets, and safety certifications).
• Ensure all documentation (contracts, IDs, certifications) is completed and filed correctly.
• Maintain accurate records of medical and compliance status for each candidate.
• Coordinate formal onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration into the workforce.
• Manage induction sessions covering company policies and site-specific requirements.
• Ensure workers are equipped with necessary PPE.
• Maintain mobilisation schedules and track candidate movements.
• Provide regular updates to internal teams and clients on mobilisation status.
• Address any delays or issues in the mobilisation process proactively.
• Act as the primary point of contact for candidates during mobilisation.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the mobilisation journey.

Skills & Experience

• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive mindset. You anticipate issues before they arise and take initiative to solve them.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience in recruitment coordination or workforce mobilisation (1–2 years preferred).
• Familiarity with compliance standards and mobilisation tools.
