About the role
Are you ready to make a difference in dental health through your expertise in dental radiography? As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality dental radiographic services to eligible clients, enusring accurate and timely imaging that supports exceptional patient care. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of service and promoting excellence within the field of dental radiography.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of dental radiography by training and supervising undergraduate Dental and Oral Health students, as well as TAFE students undertaking dental radiography training. By mentoring and providing peer support to Dental Radiography Assistants, you will foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment, contributing to the growth and success of your team.
About You
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Hygienist with proven dental radiography experience for this role. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Skills and Abilities: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team, with strong communication skills (written and oral), the capacity to prioritise workloads effectively, and the ability to apply independent professional judgement in routine and complex client care.
- Experience: Demonstrated competency in dental radiography, with experience tailoring care to meet the individual needs of clients and optimising their overall satisfaction.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of public health principles and quality assurance processes, ensuring high standards of care and compliance within a healthcare environment.
- Professional Qualities: A track record of providing professional leadership advice, and guidance to staff, clients and professional groups, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and collaboration.
