Are you passionate about crafting exceptional food and looking for a role that gets you out on the road? Art of Gelato Michelangelo offering a blended role for a motivated, full-time Artisan Gelato Maker and Delivery Driver to join our dedicated team

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to learn the traditional Italian art of gelato making while playing a crucial role in getting our delicious products to our customers across the city.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gelato Manufacturing (Approx. 60-70% of the role):
  • Learn and master our proprietary recipes and techniques for producing high-quality, artisanal gelato and sorbet.
  • Operate and maintain specialized gelato batching equipment (training provided).
  • Assist with inventory management of raw ingredients and finished goods.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the production kitchen.
  • Delivery Driving (Approx. 30-40% of the role):
  • Efficiently and safely deliver wholesale orders of gelato tubs to our business clients (cafés, restaurants, etc.).
  • Load and unload products, ensuring safe temperature handling throughout transport.
  • Perform basic vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery logs.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to our wholesale partners.

What We're Looking For

  • Availability to work Monday to Friday
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Genuine interest in food manufacturing and a passion for high-quality products.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy ingredients/tubs and standing for long periods.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Prior experience in a kitchen, food production environment, or delivery driving is a plus, but not essential—we will train the right candidate
