The Role

We believe in the talent and strength of our team, so that, in aim to keep growing together, we are looking for a Tenders Manager to join our Tenders team in a Full-Time with hybrid working options

Coordination and management of the Tenders department, whose main activities are EPC and O&M proposal submissions and contract negotiations for large scale photovoltaic projects (PV) and hybrid projects (PV + BESS).Set up and follow up of corporate strategy and annual objectives. · Budget preparation, follow up and updates along the year. · Reporting of the ongoing status and annual results in relation to the projects in the pipeline. People management in relation to the team of Tenders Coordinators, as well as support during the engagement with the client and the technical, commercial and procurement departments within Gransolar Group.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assessment of tender documentation received from the client, ensuring a full and complete understanding of the technical and commercial requirements.
• Planning of the preparation of the tender, to ensure the proposal is compliant, is submitted on time, and is within budget.
• Coordination of preliminary engineering to be performed as part of the tender on the basis of the requirements from the end Client. Selection of main equipment, technology to be used, site specific particularities to be accounted for, etc.
• Coordination with the legal and construction teams to complete the mark-up of the contract schedules.
• Engagement with clients to communicate GRS expertise and experience in the sector, to understand the tenders they are running, and to seek potential collaboration schemes.
• Engagement with subcontractors and suppliers to get specific quotes for the different projects, clarification of their queries, and assessment of their offers once received.
• Preparation of the tender including: budget preparation, execution strategy, site visit and project conditions review, identification of main risks and mitigation measures, preparation of the construction schedule.
• When a project is awarded, interface with the client and coordination of the contract negotiations and lenders due diligence during the EPC and O&M contracts closing.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science required.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Science or Business Administration preferred.
• Knowledge of large scale solar and hybrid projects (PV + BESS).
• Experience in bidding and business development.
• Relevant work experience within solar and/or battery storage industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
