We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Immigration Lawyer with 3-5 years post-admission experience (PAE) to join our Immigration Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner with strong technical expertise and a proven track record in delivering high-quality legal services to corporate clients.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of immigration matters, advising corporate and individual clients on a diverse range of immigration matters. You will work alongside senior practitioners to provide strategic advice and tailored solutions in relation to:
- Employer sponsored visas and short stay work visas
- Other visa categories including Entertainment visas, National Innovation visas and Partner visas
- Compliance and risk management for corporate clients
- General advisory work relating to migration law and policy
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear, strategic legal advice on immigration and compliance matters
- Prepare applications and submissions with a high degree of accuracy
- Manage client files with precision and autonomy, delivering timely and strategic advice
- Deliver personalised, high-quality service and foster long-term client relationships
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and provide proactive guidance to clients
About You
- 3-5 years post-admission experience in immigration law within a reputable practice
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Migration Act and Regulations
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills
- Highly organised and responsive with a 'can do' attitude
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise sophisticated corporate clients
- Commitment to professional excellence, integrity, and client service
