What You'll Do

The Technology Operations Manager oversees all aspects of IT service delivery and operational management, including the management of the IT Service Desk, technical support (1st to 3rd line), and the maintenance of core business applications. The role manages incident and problem resolution, coordinates technology changes through the Change Advisory Board (CAB), and maintains business continuity and disaster recovery plans. This role supports our corporate environment, ensuring IT services align with business goals while adhering to operational standards and performance metrics.

Service Desk and Technical Support (First line through to third line):

• Oversee all support functions from first to third line, ensuring seamless and efficient resolution of incidents and service requests.

Incident and Problem Management:

• Implement and manage the incident management process to ensure prompt identification and resolution of IT issues across all support levels.

Change and Release Management:

• Manage the Change Advisory Board (CAB): Oversee the CAB process, ensuring that all IT changes are submitted, reviewed, and approved in line with CAB policies and ITIL best practices.

IT Operations and Core Application Maintenance:

• Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of core business applications and associated infrastructure.

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery:

• Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure critical IT services, especially core applications, can be restored swiftly in the event of a disruption.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and manage a small diverse IT team, including Service Desk Analysts and Technical support team members, ensuring team performance aligns with business goals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, promoting professional development and staying informed on industry trends.

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary liaison between IT and our Corporate office departments, ensuring IT services align with business objectives and deliver value.

What You'll Need

• 8+ years of experience in digital delivery, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale digital transformation or innovation programs.
• Exposure to AI, automation, or emerging tech delivery is highly desirable.
• Deep knowledge of agile methodologies, delivery frameworks, and modern program governance.
• Proven ability to deliver large-scale initiatives on time, within budget, and aligned to business strategy.
• Skilled in building and leading high-performing delivery teams, with a focus on coaching, empowerment, and accountability.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels and drive alignment across functions.
• Understanding of emerging technologies (e.g. AI, GenAI, automation) and their application in enhancing delivery practices.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, changing environment while maintaining focus on outcomes and value delivery.
