What will your daily responsibilities include in this role?
- Gain a thorough understanding of Exide's product offerings and the market within which they operate. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the WA region to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify new business development opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market share in the WA region.
- Lead WA ES Sales with a clear purpose in line with the budget and region objectives and work collaboratively with all key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Provide technical and commercial assistance to all customers to guarantee all safety and performance regulations are met.
- In time, develop and enhance your technical product knowledge across the major chemical systems offered by the company, including Exide's BESS offering. Develop a sound understanding of the basic functionality of said chemical systems.
- Develop and optimise the current and future business channels within the Energy Solutions and BESS WA segment to maximise profit and cash flow.
- Work always to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- 5 years' proven sales management experience in an industrial environment.
- Proven track record of developing new business opportunities in the Australian region for Industrial applications.
- Knowledge of industrial battery, Telecoms, UPS, Utility or Solar markets essential.
- Degree qualification, or relevant industry experience; electrical engineering or electrical trade accepted. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
