He developed DECIEM to be a happy family (of people and beauty brands), rooted in kindness, creativity, diversity, and respect, alongside Co-Founder, Nicola Kilner.We are growing rapidly and we're looking for someone who shares this vision and wants to grow with usWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORWe are looking to hire a PT Associate Counter Manager to work at our Myer Melbourne counter on a 30-hour per week contract.To be eligible for this role, you must be available to work the following shifts weekly:Monday 9:30am - 5:30pmTuesday 9:30am - 5:30pmWednesday 11am - 7pmSunday 10am - 6pmAs a permanent team member, you must demonstrate initiative, be a strong team player with leadership experience to guide our casual and seasonal team members.As we approach the busy end of year period, the successful candidate must have full availability through November and December as there is a leave blackout period through this time, no leave requests will be approved. Only candidates who are available to work through this period will be considered.WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLEGreet all customers who enter the store with enthusiasm and professionalism reflecting DECIEM's vision through excellent serviceDetermine the customer's needs and suggest relevant products by listening to the customer and sharing the product knowledge acquired during brand trainingEnsure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are metAdhere to the DECIEM experience and deliver unparalleled customer service. Educate customers about the world of Beauty and Skin Care, DECIEM brands and productsManage customer feedback and queriesOperate POS and complete transactions accurately and efficientlyParticipate in inventory control and counts to ensure product stock is up to dateContribute to a positive, fun, and professional team environmentStay up to date with product knowledge, company information, launches and campaignsPerform operational duties such as cash handling, restocking, replenishing productsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONELove of beauty products and a passion for skincareComfortable in engaging customers and applying products with the customer while providing consultationsAbility to multi-task, while providing professional and outstanding customer serviceEffective time management and communication skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsWHAT YOU'LL BE GAINING BY JOINING OUR TEAMThere's a lot of good stuff that comes along with being a DECIEM team member.
