Position No: 9146

About the role

A key role has become available in our Civil Services Team, overseeing the maintenance of Council's sealed road network. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a team in a addition to managing contractors. The role oversees the maintenance of our sealed road assets, managing our maintenance program and applying expertise in signage and line marking. You'll also play a critical role in managing our contractor panels, overseeing their performance to ensure compliance with our high standards and strategic objectives.

About you

You will have practical, hands on experience in operational leadership and completing works programs on time and within budget. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships with various stakeholders. Experience in infrastructure management, particularly with roads and road assets, is preferred. We also value a proactive approach to problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and quality of work.
