Our highly technical Structural Engineering team is adept in all modern construction materials and systems, not only in concrete, masonry, and steel but also in timber, aluminium and glass, structural fabrics, and composites. At the same time, sustainability is fundamental in their approach to design.
RBG's structures team delivers award-winning, complex, and architecturally iconic structure designs, including tall and super-tall buildings, stadiums, airports, and major infrastructure projects. Our Melbourne team has engineered and is continuing to deliver some of the largest and most complex projects such as Australia 108, AAMI Stadium, North East Link, and 405 Bourke Street.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Graduate Engineer to join our Structural Engineering team in Melbourne. As a Robert Bird Group Graduate, you will work with and learn from experienced engineers, expanding your knowledge and experience. The successful applicant will have:
- A relevant engineering qualification with a strong academic record
- At least 1-2 years structural engineering design experience
- Exposure to steel or reinforced concrete design
- A commitment to continuous learning
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- A solid understanding of Australian Standards is essential
