Our Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Home Agency Manager to provide operational and people leadership for Cafs role within The Orange Door service in the Central Highlands Area. Reporting to the Manager, Family Safety and Child Wellbeing, you will lead and support Cafs Orange Door Team Leaders, and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed responses to family violence and child wellbeing referrals. The role works collaboratively within a multi-partner Orange Door environment, ensuring Cafs meets its organisational, legislative and funding responsibilities while contributing to integrated service delivery and the best outcomes and opportunities for children, young people and families within the local community.

About You

You are an experienced people leader within the social services and community services sector, with a strong understanding of family violence and child wellbeing systems. You bring a collaborative leadership approach, experience supporting practitioners in complex service environments, and a commitment to quality, compliance and integrated practice. You hold a Bachelor or above qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Psychology or a related field, with demonstrated experience in professional supervision and reflective practice.

Skills & Attributes

  • Significant experience leading team within family violence, child wellbeing and workforce development.
  • Strong understanding of The Orange Door service model, MARAM and integrated practice.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders.
  • Experience overseeing quality, compliance, incident response, and continuous improvement.
  • Sound judgement, resilience and the ability to lead in complex and emotionally demanding settings.
