About the role

QUFW is seeking Obstetric and Gynaecology Sonographers to join our valued team of health professionals for the Gold Coast region (Tugun and Southport). This part-time role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment, using the latest medical imaging technology to provide essential diagnostic services to our patients. What you'll be doing

  • Performing a range of obstetric and gynaecology ultrasound examinations, including first trimester scans, morphology scans, and endometriosis scans
  • Providing high-quality, patient-centred care by ensuring a professional, empathetic, and efficient service
  • Accurately interpreting and reporting on ultrasound findings
  • Maintaining detailed and comprehensive patient records
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an accredited sonographer, with an interest in obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound
  • Tertiary qualification in Medical Ultrasound
  • Registration with the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
  • RANZCOG Nuchal accreditation is desirable, however training will be provided
  • Experience in gynaecology ultrasound including endometriosis scanning is desirable, however extensive training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient outcomes
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of our patients
