The Core Manufacturing Crew supports this vision by applying world-class risk management practices to achieve the team's objective: positioning the Home Loan portfolio for sustainable profitable growth by ensuring appropriate controls and strategies are in place to minimise losses and maximise revenues.

Do work that matters:

You will help drive the Home Loan lending growth strategy whilst ensuring that the portfolio is managed within the bank's risk appetite. This will involve supporting optimisation and growth through sound understanding of home loan policy and strategy.   You will provide analytics and reporting to our stakeholders on portfolio, segment and business performance. 
 

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

• Optimise valuations strategy through delivery of enhanced reporting, analytics and insights

• Monitor the credit portfolio through: Development and enhancement of the credit risk reporting suite & Development and setting of Key Risk Indicators and managing the portfolio within thresholds

• Conduct analysis to provide forward looking insights and identifying emerging risks.

• Identify opportunities to enhance business rules or credit strategies based on insights and analytics.

• Manage delivery on internal and external requests involving credit risk analytics.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and potentially external business stakeholders.

• Deliver high quality, accurate and timely analytics using industry standard tools to solve business problems.

• Role model leadership behaviours as per the Group's Vision and Values.

• Lead and demonstrate enthusiasm, resilience, ethical behaviour, teamwork and stakeholder management.

• Demonstrate sound coaching and mentoring skills to continually develop self and team.

• Broad experience in Credit Risk management roles.

• Extensive experience in Analytics, Modelling and/or Business Intelligence.

• Proven experience extracting raw data from large data warehouses using tools such as Teradata SQL/Python and visualising in Tableau to draw out insights and trends.

• Are passionate about solving challenging business problems by combining business acumen with data driven insights.

• Strong attention to detail and process understanding.

• Ability to navigate and manage complex systems and large datasets.
