We're partnering with a leading Australian supplier in the licensed and branded apparel space to find a passionate and commercially minded Designer to join their Melbourne-based team.

This business is known for its long-standing relationships with globally recognised entertainment brands. Their product offering spans apparel, sleepwear, accessories, and more – and they pride themselves on innovation, strong culture, and delivering top-tier product for the local market.

About the Role
Working across both kids and adult categories, this role will see you designing fun, trend-led collections within a fast-paced and high-volume environment. You'll report to the Account Manager and collaborate closely with the production and technical teams to bring each range to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Researching trends, shapes, colours, and graphics to develop seasonal mood boards.
  • Designing product ranges and storyboards using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Creating yardage and placement prints in line with licensor brand guidelines.
  • Collaborating with internal teams including production assistants and garment technicians to ensure seamless product execution.
About You:
  • A tertiary qualification in Fashion or Graphic Design.
  • Proven experience in a design or graphic design role, ideally within sleepwear or licensed apparel.
  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills – Illustrator and Photoshop are essential.
  • A passion for designing within brand guidelines while bringing creativity to each range.
  • Knowledge of garment construction, fabrications, and print techniques.
  • Positive, proactive, and ready to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
