About the role

As the General Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of the dealership's sales operations across new and used vehicles. You'll be responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating the sales team, developing effective strategies, and ensuring our dealership achieves its targets while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

Drive sales performance across new and used vehicle departments

Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve KPIs and deliver excellence

Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share and profitability

Oversee stock control, pricing, and promotional campaigns

Ensure compliance with dealership policies, finance regulations, and manufacturer standards

Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and the wider community

What we're looking for

Proven leadership experience in automotive sales management (Dealer Principal, Sales Manager, or similar role)

Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

Exceptional leadership, communication, and people management skills

Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and drive results

A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
