We are currently searching for a compassionate, empathetic and organised person to be our Day Respite Centre Coordinator at our Clontarf location. If you believe you have the skills and experience to bring value to our organisation, please read below
Your Role
As a Co-ordinator you will be joining an organisation that encourages personal development, offers a variety of educational options that provides a range of internal resources and support networks.
Your tasks will include:
- Ensure the delivery, active promotion and provision of a holistic approach to care, which focuses on the needs and rights of the care recipient and carers
- Ensure the provision of comprehensive care involving assessment, prevention, early detection and referral across various programs
- Regularly evaluate the effects of care provided through planned reviews and assessments
- Maintain confidentiality of information pertaining to clients, carers, staff and Ozcare
- Deliver efficient and effective co-ordination of service provision using a variety of computer programs
- Liaise with State Manager and provide assistance where necessary to meet service outcomes

Role Requirements
- Qualifications in a Health related field, aged care service management or equivalent experience
- Good computer & mobile device skills
- A current Queensland Driver's Licence
- Current Police Screening Certificate
- Be vaccinated (and maintain up-to-date vaccinations) against Influenza and Covid-19
- First aid and CPR certificates, required within one month of commencement
- Where applicable, Disability Services Queensland screening and Working with Children Check will also be required
Previous experience in the managing and delivery of a diverse range of community care programs for the frail aged and young people with disabilities
