About the role

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Diploma-qualified Educators — or those actively working towards their Diploma — to join our passionate kindergarten team You can either start now as a casual or 'Permanent part-time' from 27 Jan 2026.

Break Cover shifts are short sessions that take place in the middle of the day, offering you an excellent opportunity to:

  • Build your sessional kinder experience
  • Ease back into work
  • Combine with your ECT studies
  • ..or combine with your OSHC shift

Available Positions:

Hillside – 3.25 hours per day

Mondays | 10:45 am – 2:00 pm

Melton West – 3.25 hours per day

Monday | 10:45 am – 2:00 pm

Laurimar – 2 hours per day

Monday | 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Eynesbury – 2/ 3.25 hours per day

Mondays | 11:00 am – 2:15 pm; Fridays | 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm;

Beveridge – 3.25 hours per day

Tuesday & Thursday | 11:00 am – 2:15 pm

  • Diploma qualified educator with positive, energetic, and enthusiastic in their approach
  • Demonstrate initiative and contribute to a child-centred, friendly team environment
  • Have the ability to interact positively with children and supervise the environment carefully
  • Show a genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and wellbeing
